This Privacy Policy describes how Jesta Time collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform.

1. Categories of Data Collected

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, IP address.
  • User-Generated Content: Messages, photos, videos, and other content submitted to greeting pages.
  • Device & Usage Data: Browser type, operating system, pages visited, and actions performed.
  • Payment Information: Processed exclusively by third-party payment processors; we do not store payment card data.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the greeting page service.
  • To send transactional emails related to your pages.
  • To improve the platform through aggregated analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties beyond infrastructure, storage, and billing providers.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for security, improving user experience, analytics, and core system functionality. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.

4. Data Retention

  • Pages without "Save Forever": Greetings are accessible for 72 hours after first opened. Pages may be permanently deleted after two (2) years from creation. Deletion is irreversible — no backup is maintained.
  • "Save Forever" campaigns: Retained for as long as the Service remains active.
  • Account and transactional data may be retained for up to seven (7) years for legal and accounting purposes.

5. Third-Party Data Processors

We work with the following categories of third-party service providers who may process your data on our behalf:

  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Cloud storage and compute providers.
  • Payment Processors: Secure payment processors handling all transaction data.
  • Email Delivery: Transactional email service providers (e.g., Resend).
  • Backend Platform: Base44 (Backend-as-a-Service provider).
  • Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics to improve the Service.
  • WhatsApp Messaging: Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business API), used to facilitate our WhatsApp bot service. Messages sent via WhatsApp are also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy and WhatsApp's Terms of Service.

All processors are bound by contractual data protection obligations.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data through leading third-party service providers. However, no security is absolute. By using the platform, you acknowledge that Jesta Time is not liable for damages resulting from unauthorized access or breaches.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Users must be at least 18 years old to create or manage a greeting page.

9. Accessibility Statement

Jesta Time is committed to making the platform accessible to people with disabilities, working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

10. Use of Pages for Marketing

  • Jesta Time may display publicly accessible greeting pages for demo and marketing purposes.
  • Content marked as private will never be used for marketing.
  • Page organizers may request their page not be used for marketing, and we will comply within a reasonable timeframe.

11. WhatsApp Bot & Messaging

Jesta Time operates a WhatsApp-based bot to allow users to submit group greetings or create greeting pages via WhatsApp. By initiating a conversation with our bot (e.g., by clicking a pre-filled WhatsApp link on jestatime.com), you consent to the following:

📵 No Third-Party Sharing of Messaging Data

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — including your WhatsApp phone number and messaging consent — are never shared, sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party for their own marketing or messaging purposes. This applies regardless of any other information-sharing language that may appear elsewhere in this policy. Meta Platforms, Inc. processes messages solely as a technical infrastructure provider under contractual data protection obligations, and does not receive your opt-in consent as a party authorized to message you independently.

  • Data Collected via WhatsApp: Your WhatsApp phone number, display name, greeting text, photos, videos, and email address (verified by a 6-digit code).
  • Purpose: Data collected through the bot is used exclusively to create or contribute to a greeting page on your behalf, communicated directly by Jesta Time. It is not used for unrelated marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
  • Direct Relationship Only: Your messaging consent is a direct agreement between you and Jesta Time. We do not transfer, share, or sell your phone number or messaging opt-in to any third party, affiliate, or partner.
  • User-Initiated Only: All conversations are strictly initiated by the user. We do not send unsolicited messages via WhatsApp.
  • Opting Out: You may end the conversation at any time by replying STOP. Your session data will be closed immediately. To request permanent deletion of any content you submitted, contact us at support@jestatime.com.
  • Infrastructure Provider: WhatsApp messages are transmitted directly via Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business API) as the technical delivery provider. Meta does not receive your opt-in consent for their own independent use and is bound by contractual data protection obligations.
  • No Age-Gated Content: The WhatsApp bot does not facilitate or transmit age-gated, adult, or otherwise restricted content.

12. Affiliate Program

Jesta Time operates an affiliate program that allows registered affiliates to earn commissions by referring users to the platform. By participating in the affiliate program, you agree to the following terms:

  • Commission Structure: Affiliates earn 35% of the net revenue generated from purchases made by users who signed up or created campaigns via the affiliate's unique referral link.
  • Qualifying Purchases: Commissions are earned on two types of purchases: (1) "Save Forever" upgrades ($34.90–$49.90), and (2) extra participant slot packages ($9–$50) purchased for campaigns linked to your affiliate ID.
  • Attribution: A campaign is attributed to an affiliate at the time of creation, when a user arrives via the affiliate's referral link. All future purchases on that campaign (including slot upgrades) are commissionable.
  • Payout Threshold: Payouts are available once the accumulated commission balance reaches $250, or after 3 months from the first commission — whichever comes first.
  • Payout Process: Affiliates must submit an invoice or equivalent documentation. Jesta Time reserves the right to verify all purchases before approving payout.
  • Fraud & Abuse: Jesta Time reserves the right to withhold or reverse commissions generated through fraudulent activity, self-referral, or violation of these terms.
  • Program Changes: Jesta Time may modify commission rates or program terms at any time with 30 days' notice to active affiliates.
